For the first months at the start of this decade, Artists Wanted mounted an international search for the worlds most compelling Self Portraits. What was discovered is phenomenal. Artists from over 70 countries submitted work ranging from painting, to sculpture to performance to photographs. The range and depth of work was phenomenal and we are pleased to present the best of that process.

I recieved an email today inviting me to this show opening in Manhattan on Friday the 12th. Wish I lived in the city!
The show features the winners of the Artists Wanted, Power of Self competition that took place a few months ago. Photographer Cheng-Chang Wu of Taiwan took the first prize while Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir of Hafnarfjörður, Iceland and Hilary McHone of South Pasadena, CA took Peoples Choice Awards.
